Like the night before the first day of school or the big presentation at work, there's always a little bit of apprehension when the alarm clock awakens you to something new that day! So let's make your visit to St. John's as comfortable as possible!

At 8:00 a.m. we celebrate the Holy Eucharist, Rite II with readings, sermon, prayers, and hymns. After the service, join us for breakfast and fellowship at a local restaurant! At 10:00 a.m. we celebrate the Holy Eucharist, Rite II with readings, sermons, prayers, and choir. Staffed Nursery Care is available. Church School meets at the end of the service. Coffee Hour follows the service in the Bond Parish Hall.
Next Stop: St. John's! Our address is 400 Main Street, Niantic, CT 06357. Click on our Directions tab or go to Mapquest for ease in traveling to St. John's. We are located across the street from the Children's Museum.
Parking and Entrances: There are two parking areas at St. John's. The smaller one is located right across from the main entrance. The larger lot is located behind the church and out of view from Main Street. Simply turn into McCook Place and you'll find the lot on your left. Both lots have handicapped parking spaces.
Limited Mobility? No Problem! St. John's is handicapped accessible to all! If you prefer to park in the back parking lot, please use the ramp to access the church, complete with automatic doors. Now that you're inside, you're welcome to take the chair lift to the Main Floor.
Rest Rooms: Rest rooms are available on the Main Floor and on the lower level. Handicapped accessible to all.
Hello! We're Happy to See You! Ushers will greet you and give you a worship bulletin. We use the blue hymnal and the red Book of Common Prayer. Don't hesitate to ask someone near you if you need help following along.
Communion: All baptized Christians are welcome at The Lord's Table. Stand or kneel as you please. The bread, or wafer, will be placed in your hand. You are welcome to drink the wine from the Common Cup, or intinct (dip) the wafer into the wine. Gluten free communion hosts are available. To indicate that you wish to receive a GF host, please present your hands palms down at the communion rail. If you prefer to receive a blessing, simply cross your hands across your chest.
Coffee Hour: Coffee, tea, and treats are offered at Coffee Hour in the Bond Parish Hall (lower level) immediately following the 10:00 a.m. Worship Service.
